The 37th edition of the Alicante Costa Blanca Rally starts this week. The roads of the province will be the venue for this traditional motor race which has been generating and winning followers over the years. Its spectacular nature, combined with the difficulty of a number of stretches, has made it an event not to be missed by motoring enthusiasts.
This year, Javier Pérez starts off as favourite for winning the trophy, his sound knowledge of the local asphalt, together with the thrill of racing at home, place him as the enemy to beat.
The Alicante Costa Blanca Rally will be contested by 40 drivers, 30 in the speed modality and 10 in the regularity modality, among them, Manuel Aviñó, winner of the last edition.
The objective of this Rally is to take the passionate world of motoring closer to the public, given that hundreds of people will line the rally’s three tracks.
