On the Rt. Como en Casa on Cumbre del Sol (next to the paddle tennis courts) next Saturday, December 2, starting at 12:00 p.m., there will be a fun Christmas costume contest for pets (you can also dress up to match your pet) .

Whoever wants to participate in the contest must be present at 12:45 p.m. at the Como en Casa Restaurant, Cumbre Del Sol.

In August we have a new sporting event at Cumbre del Sol. From the 23rd to the 27th of August the 5th Annual VAPF Padel Tournament will be held. The padel matches will be played early in the morning and late in the afternoon.  

There will be the following categories: 1, 1B and 2 Men, 2 Women and 1 and 2B/3 Mixed. The price of inscription is 20€.

A charity event for the benefit of the AKIRA Dog Sanctuary and to which we hope you can collaborate with your participation. Enjoy a fun day with your neighbours and friends while helping the little furry ones.

The 3 most original costumes will be awarded with product packs for dogs.

We have also organized a charity raffle whose collection will go entirely to AKIRA (Donation of €5 per ticket. Now available at Rte. Como en Casa, at AKIRA and at the VAPF offices) with which, at the end of the event, we will raffle, around 4 p.m., a basket of typical Christmas products valued at more than €150.

In August, on the 26th, 27th and 28th, the Cumbre del Sol Paddle Tennis Tournament will return, a triple tournament with one category being played on each day and, as always, sponsored by the VAPF Group and held at their facilities.

On Thursday the 30th of June we will be holding a Charity Gala at the Cumbre del Sol Residential Resort for the NGO Save The Children.
The gala will take place at the La Cumbre Restaurant where all attendees will be able to enjoy the menu that has been specially prepared for the occasion, a dinner accompanied by live music. Both adults and children can attend the event, there will be children's entertainment for the younger ones. An ideal time to get together with the residents of the Residential Resort Cumbre del Sol, have dinner, dance and enjoy the surprises we have prepared for you. In the month of August there is a new padel date at Residential Resort Cumbre del Sol. As in July, a new padel competition will be held at the Padel Club North Costa Blanca, where the VAPF Group will once again be prominently present. On this occasion, and in order to continue promoting the practice of sport among the residents and visitors of the area, the VAPF Group will award trophies to the winners in each category.

The tournament will take place between 5 and 8 August and will be held in categories 1 and 2 Men, 2 Women and Mixed 1a and 1b. The entry fee is 20€ per person and per category. The prize includes a welcome pack with grip tape, a bottle of water for hydration during the tournament and a t-shirt. In addition, the winners will receive a cash prize of 150€, the runners-up 50€. The Cumbre del Sol Padel Tournament will take place from Thursday, July 1st, 2021, to Sunday, July 4th. This sports event will be held in the North Costa Blanca Padel Club facilities, located in Cumbre del Sol, with the support of VAPF.
The event is part of the VAPF and North Costa Blanca Padel Club’s initiative to encourage the practice of padel and other sports among the area’s inhabitants. On this occasion, the event will also serve as an opportunity for many new neighbors and vacation-goers to check out the club’s new courts, situated in an excellent location with ocean views.

This weekend, we have the pleasure of hosting the first professional sporting event since the state of alarm was decreed in Spain, the “Region of Valencia Tennis Challenge”.
The resort´s sports facilities will be the media centre of tennis over the weekend, on its courts 4 of the top tennis players of the ATP circuit will compete in this event, the “Region of Valencia Tennis Challenge”: Roberto Bautista ATP#12, Pablo Carreño ATP#25, Alez de Minaur ATP#26 and Pablo Andujar ATP#53. Atreat and am honour for all Cumbredel Sol´s neighbours/residents.
Due to the current circumstances, we cannot attend this event, as it is going to be held without an audience, but we can follow it on the television. It is going to be broadcast on an international level:

This Christmas the Residential Resort Cumbre del Sol will shine more than ever!

On October 30th we had a wonderful day with our neighbours at the luxurious apartments “Blue Infinity”. The reason was a Brunch so you had the opportunity to discover the new apartments and to meet with the rest of the residents of Residential Resort Cumbre del Sol.
The event started at 11:00 am and went through to 03:00 pm and more than 160 people attended. Those who attended were able to visit the exclusive communal areas of the new Block as well as the Show apartment, finishing the visit at the terrace of the Infinite Pool. There is where they enjoyed a wonderful Brunch accompanied by live Jazz music.
It was aperfect day, with warm temperatures and a pleasant atmosphere. We hope you all enjoyed it as much as we did.

For the third year "la Vuelta ciclista a España" will pass through the Residential Resort Cumbre del Sol up to del lo Alto del Puig de la Llorença, this time in the first stage.

The first part of the stage will travel in the interior part of the province of Alicante, characteristic for its winding terrain. In the final part they will travel up el Alto de Puig Llorença (Cumbre del Sol), situated 24 km from the finish line that will make a selection of 70-80 cyclists among which the victory will be played.

We invite all the neighbors and visitors to come to Residential Resort Cumbre del Sol on the 25th of August and to enjoy this spectacular sport from a unique place.

On the  Saturday 24th of August we have a date to remember in the Residential Resort Cumbre del Sol with the celebration of the 3rd Classic Car Rally.

The Rally start at 18:30 with a concentration of vehicles in Benissa (in front of Bar Frau) and a route will be made to the Residential Resort Cumbre del Sol (Restaurant La Cumbre) where the vehicles will be exhibited and celebration with dinner and dance for everyone that wish to attend.

On this occasion  we have the collaboration with  "Vehícles Històrics La Marina".

Marking the beginning of Belgium as an independent state with a constitutional monarchy and parliament, Belgian National Day is always a popular Cumbre del Sol event.

The large Belgian population residing in the Cumbre del Sol Residential Resort and the surrounding areas is always eager to lead us in revelry, and as every year, they plan a dinner in the restaurant La Cumbre featuring a special menu, live music, and enough entertainment to make anyone feel at home.

With the start of the summer the awaited night of San Juan arrived to The Residential Resort Cumbre del Sol. On this occasion the attendees enjoyed a pleasant dinner in the Restaurant La Cumbre, together with other neighbors and staff from VAPF.

For this magical night VAPF handed out a wish kit that consisted of 2 papers: in the first paper they had to write the wish they wanted to achieve, this paper they have to save for one year and burn in the bonfire the following year. In the second paper they had to write one negative thing that they want to eliminate from their lives, and to continue, burn it in the bonfire of San Juan by midnight.

All the neighbors enjoyed a pleasant night by the fire and entertained by music in a splendid and warm night.

On the 21st of May we celebrated the 2nd Day of the Tree in Cumbre del Sol. A day in which students and teachers from the Lady Elizabeth School participated, members from the Tow nhall of Poble Nou de Benitatxell, neighbors from Cumbre del Sol and staff from VAPF. The objective for the event is to repopulate green areas and raise awareness among the youngest members of the environment.

For the second consecutive year this marked day was celebrated in which the students of Year 1 in the Lady Elizabeth School came together with the teachers, members from the Town hall of Poble Nou de Benitatxell, staff from VAPF and as well neighbors of the Residential were invited to participate.

The day began with meeting the children from the school and bring them to the plantation area. There they were received by the Commercial and Marketing director from VAPF Group, Vicente Mestre, he thanked everyone for their participation, and he highlighted the importance of these events in an environment as amazing as Cumbre del Sol. To continue the planting of the trees were proceeded where the children got help from the adults to finish irrigating them and enjoying the environment.
VAPF Group provided the trees and the land and gave the student a back pack with a cap, water, and a pot to plant at home
The whole team is proud of this initiative, and to invite all the neighbors to participate on these days and thus create a great community.

For the second consecutive year, the Christmas Decoration Contest was held at Residential Resort Cumbre del Sol.
One more year we want to THANK everyone for participating in this magical contest. Christmas is a season to share and meet with neighbors and friends and it is a pleasure to be able to enjoy these moments with all of you.

The awards were presented at La Cumbre Restaurant, where all the participants were invited to a Christmas aperitif and after the award ceremony proceeded. A very special way to celebrate these holidays with the residents of Residential Resort Cumbre del Sol and congratulate the New Year.

The first owners of Blue Infinity have already begun to enjoy their exclusive apartments and Grupo VAPF has wanted to welcome them to the Residential Resort Cumbre del Sol, organizing an opening party, in order to share a pleasant dinner with all of them and their friends, enjoying marvelous sea views.
The party took place on Friday 2nd of November, with the attendance of 75 owners and friends, who tanked us for organizing it.
A day in which the owners and the commercial team of Grupo VAPF were able to exchange impressions during the meal, and enjoy the surprises that awaited them after the meal, starting with a pure flamenco show and continuing with a DJ, open bar and a fun photocall in which to take photos and remember this day.

On Sunday 29th of July the Marina Alta Classic Car Club celebrated its second rally with finish line at the Residential Resort Cumbre del Sol. A unique occasion in which we could see their classic cars and enjoy a dinner at La Cumbre Restaurant, an event sponsored by Grupo VAPF.
This event was open to all classic cars enthusiasts and residents of the Residential Resort Cumbre del Sol, and there were many who joined the dinner and enjoyed this evening. The cars were on display from 8 pm until the end of the dinner.
In addition to enjoying these incredible vehicles, the attendees collaborated in the charity raffle, sponsored by Grupo VAPF and Marina Alta Classic Car Club, which in this event was destined to the Jávea Breast Cancer Association.

For the second year in a row, the Belgian National Day celebration was organized by Grupo VAPF and Belles Villas on the 21st of July in the Residential Resort Cumbre del Sol. This event was very successful, and more than 200 people attended and were dancing until early morning hours at Restaurant la Cumbre.
The event started by 20:00, receiving the attendees with a welcome aperitif and encouraging them to participate in a prize raffle that the entire team had prepared with great enthusiasm.
When it was time for dinner, all the guest went to the corresponding tables to meet with friends and new neighbors in Residential Resort Cumbre del Sol. The youngest shared a table, accompanied by children entertainers, who, at the end of the meal, organized games to entertain them.
During the dessert, Grupo VAPF and Belles Villa presented the raffle and prizes, courtesy of some services at Residential Resort Cumbre del Sol. Some innocent hands volunteered to extract the winning number of prizes, and they were delivered by the team from Grupo VAPF and Belles Villas.
The evening proceeded with all the guests dancing to the rhythm of the music and making fun group photographs in the photacall. It was a special night and Grupo VAPF and Belles Villas are grateful to the participation and desire to enjoy that all the attendees contributed.

On the 23rd of June we celebrated for the first time the night of San Juan in Residential Resort Cumbre del Sol. We did not want to miss such a magical and special event, thus, we organized together with the beach bar Cala Moraig, an event where more than 100 people could enjoy this amazing summer night by the sea.
The event was very successful, it started by 20:00 with a welcome drink while we enjoyed the fantastic sunset of Cala Moraig, and we waited for it to get dark.
The dinner was enlivened with music, that got some people up dancing, while other people enjoyed immortalizing the moment in the photocall.
The dinner was finished of with a toast and some attendees dared to jump the waves in the sea, which is the famous tradition by midnight.
From Grupo VAPF, we are grateful to all participants that attended, it was a night we will not forget, and we hope to repeat for the next years.

On the 15th of May Grupo VAPF inaugurated the padel/tennis courts and the restaurant "Como en Casa". An event where all the residents and neighbors of the region were invited.
The inauguration started with a speech from the Mayor of Poble Nou de Benitatxell Josep Femenia, accompanied by the sport councilor Manolo Segarra. Once finished the speech, gave way to the event of a tennis match between professionals in the hand of Dylan Mary, person responsible over the courts. Afterwards started the catering and food tasting from the kitchen of Mari Paz, owner of the restaurant "Como en Casa" located in the same sport club.
To finish of the event, there was a raffle for the attendants, an innocent hand picked the winning numbers for the prizes, that were a bonus of 5 classes taught by tennis instructor Dylan Mary, and a dinner for 4 people at restaurant "Como en Casa".
It was a very entertaining day in which attendees could enjoy a very pleasant time in the Residential Resort Cumbre del Sol enlivened with music, food and drinks, activities for the youngest such as balloon twisting, face painting and games, as well as spectacular views and, of course, the company of neighbors.

As a committed and responsible business group, Grupo VAPF understands that we must contribute in everything we can to the promotion of respect for the environment, and what better way to do it than to raise awareness to our future generations about the importance of tree planting, giving as a good example. The organization of the Day of The Tree at the Residential Resort Cumbre del Sol is an initiative to make everyone feel responsible for our environment.
The 27th of April was a special day in the Residential Resort Cumbre del Sol, around 70 school children came with buses organized by Grupo Vapf to the Lirios Design Area in Cumbre del Sol. There they got welcomed by the Mayor of Poble Nou de Benitatxell, that dedicated some short and endearing words. Also, neighbors from Cumbre del Sol, commercial department from Grupo Vapf and some parents, came along.
Organized in groups of 4 or 5 in hand of an adult, they participated in planting more than 100 trees of the type pines griffithii, afterwards they proceeded to water them, and finishing of the day with a pleasant time in the fresh air, enjoying the marvelous views that Cumbre del Sol has to offer.
All the team of Grupo VAPF feel proud of this initiative, and they hope that the next celebration of similar events will have the same or more participants.

It was an exciting day at the elementary school with the Ceremony of Cutting the Ribbon to celebrate the completion of the new extension of Year 5 and Year 6. Students of Year 5 and Year 6 and their parents were invited to this special event along with Josep Femenia, Mayor of Benitachell, Pedro Soliveres, General Director of the company Grupo VAPF, Vicente Mestre, Sales and Marketing Director of the Grupo Vapf, Nick Rugg, the Director of ISP Schools in Europe, among others.
The students of Year 5 and Year 6 opened the event with two beautiful songs: 'Look into the Fire', a traditional song, and 'One More Step Along the World I Go', an anthem of Sydney Carter. . The Director, Richard Wijeratne, welcomed and presented the Director of ISP Schools In Europe, Nick Rugg that reiterated that it was a very exciting moment especially for the students of Year 5, Year 6 and their teachers. Next, Mr Rugg cut the ribbon at the entrance of the building, allowing parents, students, staff and other visitors to enter and see the new expansion. Some student could try the new interactive whiteboards in each classroom.

On 16th of September, the Cumbre del Sol Summer Party took place, which for many years has been celebrated by several associations from the Residential Resort, Bomberos Voluntarios La Cumbre, A.V.I.B., Vecinos Cooperando, etc.
The party took place at the Volunteer Firemen headquarters, and the attendees enjoyed a dinner with barbecue, homemade cakes, drinks, and live music.
Grupo VAPF wanted to collaborate with this good cause, by contributing with the gift of a costume photo booth, and all the funds obtained were for the benefits of the Volunteer Firemen in Cumbre del Sol, a small contribution to thank them for the great work they do.
Of course, we will keep you informed about upcoming activities that will be organized in the Residential Resort Cumbre del Sol.

On 27th of August, in Residential Resort Cumbre del Sol, we returned to enjoy the Vuelta Ciclista España 2017, a professional cycling day in which we vibrated with the cyclists and the thousands of followers that accompanied in the ascent to the goal of the ninth stage.
We take this opportunity to congratulate the winner of this ninth stage "Chris Froome", and as well the rest of the cyclists and the organization for, again, choosing Poble Nou de Benitatxell- Residential Resort Cumbre del Sol as their goal, we hope that you will soon repeat.

On the 20th of August we had the opportunity to enjoy a pleasant afternoon with the members of Marina Alta Classic Car Club in Residential Resort Cumbre del Sol.
On the occasion of the celebration of its monthly rally, Marina Classic Car Club chose Cumbre del Sol as its goal and Restaurant Cumbre del Sol to celebrate the subsequent dinner. An afternoon in which visitors and residents of Cumbre del Sol were able to enjoy the jewels of the club, spectacular Classic Cars.

On 21st of July, we celebrated the Belgian National Day in Residential Resort Cumbre del Sol, a celebration that turned out to be a success both in attendance and in fun.
The event brought together, between children and adults, about 290 people, that enjoyed a pleasant evening and celebrated the Belgian National Day in Restaurant La Cumbre. A magnificent evening that we hope is the first of many more.
